"Speaking of getting facts straight, could you please cite your source for the above claim?"

It must be C-Span. I cannot be persuaded that he has ever read a book!

(To paraphrase what you said with a bit of cockiness and attitude)! :-)

What is your guess on how France (with a 100%, universal health care statistics) and US-cdc produces their numbers??

Ilmarinen

Three funny historic examples

- back in the 60s, Sweden (and Scandinavia) was the world champion on suicides (still an argument today, even on SI) just because they were the first (and only) to try to track suicides correctly

- same thing in the 80s in terms of children killed by violence, just because once again the same was implemented

fast forward through the sampling debate on that US census, redistricting every tenth year

- Dangling Chads and Carter Declining to Monitor US elections

Btw, what are the most indirect causes of death because of high temperatures??

ROTFLMAO!!!

No fair! You're using FACTS!

Let's see, that 3.23/million heat deaths in TX. Versus 13.67/million in the US as a whole. Could make you think Texans have learned how to deal with their weather. I wonder if Finns have.

Hey, don't let this discourage you, llmarinen. Keep on.....
Whatever it is you think you're doing.
