In exactly the same way, the Islamists will kill any Crusaders, and not make any fine distinctions between Americans, French, Russians, the UN, civilians, or soldiers. They are all Them.

We have found a point of agreement, Jacob. Maybe you can convince GST that the Islamists don't give a tinker's dam for the difference between the US and the UN. But I doubt it. The universal legitimacy of the UN seems to be an article of faith with him. Why he can easily believe that Neocons don't share the faith but cannot believe that Islamists don't either, I'm not sure.

BTW, since you don't like the Neocon response to the Islamists, what is yours? Appease them? Buy them off? Speak nicely in conference with the French and hope the Islamists just go away?
