I've run into something very similar at the 9/11 Truth Alliance, where one contributor, Barb Honegger posts from a military site, <nps.navy.mil>. When I confronted Ms. Honegger about how odd it was that a conspiracy theorist would have a military email address, she brushed it off as a minor issue. Very curious.>>> There have been more than a few sites I've seen that looked like their sole purpose was to lend support to the concept that any so called "conspiracy theory" is automatically the work of wackos. Someone doing casual research, hitting half a dozen of those in a row, would likely come away with the impression there is a lack of substance behind evidence of a conspiracy. The hard evidence is remarkable enough when viewed against the back drop of the official propaganda, that getting way out in left field only makes it that much more unbelievable. Who would believe a US President would intentionally appoint a group of people who have openly expressed a desire to see thousands of Americans killed in a Pearl Harbor style attack? Who would believe a US President would sit for 20 minutes, doing nothing, with a not so bright expression on his face, when notified the country was under attack? Who would believe a US President would start taking anthrax medication a week before US bioweapons were mailed to US Senators and the press? Who would believe a US President would attack a helpless country in order to install an oil pipeline and restore $200 billion in heroine revenue to the black market? Who would believe a trillion dollar a year defense and intelligence machine would be helpless to defend the country from a small group of college kids? Who would believe that no less than 14 open investigations into the activities of those same college kids failed to tip anyone off to what was happening? Who would believe government officials had enough warning to protect themselves and didn't do anything to protect America? Who would believe an American President would follow the recommendations of a group of investment bankers and energy companies to use false accusations against a country, and then attack that country for the benefit of those same investment bankers and energy companies, against the will of the entire free world? Who would believe that in a country where every stock transaction is documented six ways from Sunday, authorities would be unable to identify the persons or groups behind 9/11 insider trading? Who would believe evidence from the collapsed towers would be carted off and destroyed before investigators had a chance to look at it? Who would believe an American President would use "executive privilege" and "national security" to stop investigations in their tracks? Who would believe agents of a supposedly friendly country would be caught dancing on the graves of 3000 Americans? Under the circumstances, trying to make a case for "something", other than the only plane that turned up missing, hitting the Pentagon, strikes me as odd. And that's probably one of the least strange conspiracy theories I've seen. The facts are hard enough to believe without any wild conspiracy theories, and even more so when the facts themselves have been made unavailable to mainstream America by the media in favor of official propaganda.
