Simple description of the combination of traitors and fools we must purge from our politics in order to continue to win this war:

The JCS Chairman goes on Meet the Press and is grilled relentlessly by Russert, who buys the false line that we "need more troops" in Iraq, and must spend "tens of billions" on a project that Iraqi oil money can finance entirely with no problem. The general nicely tells him he's full of shit. So he drags on the two most non-credible people in the Senate: Smilin' Joe Biden and Mad Cow McCain, to tell us all that "the president better tell the people that we need troops and money over there".

Were there any truth to what they say, of course, Mad Cow and Smilin' Joe wouldn't NEED the president to tell anyone it's necessary.

But Mad Cow McCain's only career accomplishment is to stab the people of Arizona in the back after his re-election in 1998, and to attempt to stab the people of America in the back, and rob them of their property, ever since. Smilin' Joe continues to do the only thing he's ever been able to do: recite someone else's words (in this case, the Treason Lobby), without consideration of the pesky question of what's good for the country.

At least Mad Cow McCain and Smilin' Joe Biden are in a common brotherhood, believing-in the typical egotistical manner that the Founders warned us against-that what's good for Mad Cow and Smilin' Joe is what's good for America...
