ShilohCat, Piper is a conspiracy peddling fruitcake. Please do read some good quality Middle East historians (choose your own) so that you will not remain susceptible to this nonsense. As soon as you become familiar with the players, their styles, and what really happened, these theories fall apart as the nonsense they are. Like all the goofy reasons offered for why the Israelis wanted to sink The Liberty in 1967. Open, rational debate over such theories is not possible in America today Primarily because very few people take the trouble to acquaint themselves with the basic facts.
