"Hamas does have a large social welfare wing. I've read somewhere there presence in Gaza is large, perhaps most, perhaps even all social welfare is done via Hamas. That latter sounds like too much. One can then argue about relative independence of the two programs. " Much like Mussolini made the trains run on time type of argument if you ask me. Hamas is a militant pro-Pal, pro islamist org which runs a social welfare infrastructure for pals while whipping up anti-israeli and anti-semitic feelings and sending suicide bombers to kill kids. Their stated aim is to rid all of Palestine of the state of israel and jews and probably other infidels as well.
