It is easy to be liberal when you have other entities you can live off of. Liberalism is, by its nature, parasitic, and I think that in this instance, Steve is not off base. Liberalism is altruistic...something you also wouldn't know anything about. And another thing...I make a fine living, and I pay my fair share of taxes...and I can tell you clearly that some of it goes to benefit others. And unlike you and other conservatives, I don't begrudge it nor mind that they do. No, my statement was based on substantial life experience, and the remark concerning my partner was but one example of it.
