It is easy to be liberal when you have other entities you can live off of. Liberalism is, by its nature, parasitic, and I think that in this instance, Steve is not off base.

Liberalism is altruistic...something you also wouldn't know anything about. And another thing...I make a fine living, and I pay my fair share of taxes...and I can tell you clearly that some of it goes to benefit others. And unlike you and other conservatives, I don't begrudge it nor mind that they do.

No, my statement was based on substantial life experience, and the remark concerning my partner was but one example of it.

Gee...I think your posts prove one thing only...that you are a backcountry peasant.

Liberalism is parasitic.

Look at the states whining against the federal government wanting to turn over welfare to the states. I'd move to another state to get away from being forced to pay lazy people to vote democrat.

The system needs to be fixed. Not more money poured into it.

Same problem with education. Libs are killing it. Paying poor teachers and incompetent administrators more is not going to fix anything.
