The left's rhetoric is cementing the perception that anyone who opposes Bush is a traitor. That's not ENTIRELY accurate, but thanks to McAuliffe, Daschle, Biden, Clinton, etc., the distinction has become microscopic-almost irrelevant. The left wing media can have all the polls fabricated they want, and their liberal customers will be able to feel good right up to judgement day, 2004. But Americans can smell traitors in their midst, and now that stink is combined with the stink of danger from the subhuman terrorists of the out-of-control primitive areas of the world. WE know (indeed, WE have ALWAYS known) what we must do. This is no longer peaceful discourse between patriotic citizens of differing points of view. This is a struggle against a domestic enemy who would see us all dead, and dance in our blood. Bush knows that. The shrewdist of the Democrats know that (and admit it to themselves). Only the mindless dupes that the domestic enemy has in their pockets are fooling themselves...
