While an essay needs a peg from which to hang, I have a problem with the “Perfect Storm”. No one is responsible for a storm. Many of this Admin’s problems are of their own making. They come directly from their agenda. I suspect each culture has it’s own aphorism about this common human condition. In America, we talk about “chickens coming home to roost”. Everything you posted is well said and the above paragraph concludes it nicely. When the final accounting is done, we must not let Bush off lightly. Like Blair, his hubris and mendacity got us into this mess. He/they deserve, if not punishment, banishment for what they have perpetrated. ted
