Lets see how trends work. 50% approval, 50% approval....extrapolate forward, uh 50% approval. I'm not very happy with the National debt myself. Clinton signed into law a line item Veto to chop all the pork out of Government spending. Those that love pork spending got reversed in the supreme court. This country ran the biggest deficits ever during WWII. We could have not responded to the attacks on Pearl Harbor and simply imposed economic sanctions on the Japananese. We could have let Russia take care of the Germans by themselves and saved a lot of money. All of Europe would be communist today, but we would have saved a lot of money.
