OK, so we now have found some probable common ground

- you did not listen to the CSPAN link, or at least did not notice the words "french system"
- if you took that listningr time, probably because you don't know what the words "french system" means in that context
(it is actually pretty simple, it means something close to having both a president and prime-minister, the president elected in one election of the majority of the people, and the prime-minister, or speaker, by the congress, parliement, parle-parle-house of representatives, or house-of-clowns like in UK)

- additionally, no reaction on "co-habitation" although US originally had some mechanisms for that, that is, to have the president elected by the majority and the vice-president by the minority, that is, the opposition.

That is another consensus-mechanism.

Btw, if you need more CSPAN links, I have some 3,000 more for you. (however, most of them are just available on my own hard disks and not anymore on the CSPAN hard disks)

What about if UK would have both a prime-minister, a president, a vice-president and a Queen-King??
Plus an OutHouse of the elderly Lords...

And then we have the "US-administration", no wonder no other nation have an "administration" *although UK have their shadow-cabinet to handle the continuity-issues.

Do you want a CSPAN link for that??
