Biden and McCain on face the nation say we need to commit thousands of additional ground troops and a whole bunch more money to the Iraq reconstruction. Biden wants to call up the national guard. Guess what, there is no public support for this Iraq brouhaha. Bush should have thought about that before he did that shameless grandstanding on the AC announcing victory. As it stands Bush has spent $450 billion in less than 2 years on nothing. I guess we can't close up shop and come home from Iraq after the mess we've made.
