Texans are so good dealing with the heat, that there have been cases of frostbite reported in August becuase the AC was set so low.
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
That'll teach them about irresponsible energy use. :-)

In the early '60s (THAT dates me!) some buddies and I were driving cross country. Bad weather was expected, so we decided to take the southern route, including that endless trek across Texas ("DOES THIS STATE EVER END??"). The storm found us there. I remember driving endless hundreds of miles through blinding snow and on icy, frozen roads. And that was just Dallas! :-)

It can get bitterly cold in TXC on occasion.

guess expecting a contrite "oh gee, I was wrong. Thanks for pointing out my error" was just not realistic on SI. Silly me.
Don't wait up. Ain't gonna happen. I've gone endless rounds with llmarinen. I finally gave up in exhaustion.
