Dean has already peaked IMHO. Dems are still searching. Most wont make up their minds until the last minute. By then, it will be about winning, not style. Same thing with Bradley, McCain, Tsongas and others as with Dean. They scared the establishment for awhile but in the end voters went with the strongest candidate best able to win.

A short liberal anti-war Vermont governor is not a good rational choice. Vermont is a great place but it's not mainstream America. Kerry at least is a war hero who took three bullets and killed enemy. Therefore he can quash AWOL phony Bush. But even Kerry badly needs a Graham in a Nascar singing C+W songs and eating corn-dogs to run with him. Especially to nab the ultimate prize - Florida. And what makes the difference in Florida? Some of those Nascar voters. Bush got them all last time. If Graham is VP, Bush wont get them all again. Graham might even be prsidential materials, but there's something a little goofy about him that doesn't play well in sophisticated circles. But it plays great in the areas Dems need to win.
