Larry & thread, apparently the Silicon Power Corp. mentioned so often in the article is privately held. However, I did find some mention that, back in 1999, they had partnered with publicly traded Satcon (SATC) to develop these switches. However, SATC has since fallen on very hard times, dropping below $1/share from its lofty peaks of a few years ago.

Larry & Thread, PWR is termed the "purest play" in the T&D sector in this article first published in Smart Money last week, but making the rounds again today under the symbols of some of the companies mentioned therein.
