Btw, USA citizens cannot refuse, no mechanism (legal nor constitutional, procedure) for doing that.

Luckily most other industrialized nations have a procedure for declining that knock-knock on the door and special offer.

One of the reason american third aid workers, journalists, missionaries etc usually live fairly isolated from those of the rest of the world.

The French third world nurses made another official complaint to USA many years ago, but not archived by CSPAN anymore.

However, from my personal experience, little official restrictions will result from the decline of US-foreigners, although it is recorded and archived.

PS Personally I am happy with our constitution giving me the option of refusing anything suggested by any foreign, unrecognized and untransparent entity thingy.

But I am still happy for the free cokes, cookies, seminares and movies I got at a fairly young age, although they mainly went for my buddies.
