federal deficits will continue higher each quarter
as the economy slides into recession
just when a recovery is anticipated

I believe that excluding hedonic amplifications of infotech spending in Q2, and relaxing the compounding GDP chain weight engines, Q2 saw a mild negative in growth

and besides, Q2 was chock full of military spending

I expect by 2005 we will see federal deficit approaching $1 trillion

the consumption addicts will have to withstand a removal of the real esate home equity "drug dealer" source of money
the financial sector will have to produce jobs somewhere else after the jobs slowly erode
