AG obviously put asset inflation on the back burner while he lowered rates and sucked people into huge debt on inflated home prices. I guess he thought the rest of the economy need the help. Because of this, my feeelings on the competency of AG has waned. He's basically priced a whole generation out of a house and set a lot of people up for a fall. OTOH, he had no control over the additional tax break given RE by Congress and Clinton in 1997 which really helped get the ball rolling again.
Looks like more economic yo-yo times a comin'.
