Dear Miss Manners, I followed your advice. Since only X and solon would be left out, I invited them also. X made a speech about how she really didn't care that the other guests were all so hateful. solon, went around to each person and told them they didn't understand their beliefs properly. He tried to explain to them that they really believed in bullying everyone but it just made them cry. After 30 minutes, all of my other guests had left. X and solon refused to play twister with me because there were no black dots. I cried until they both left. On their way out they told me that I shouldn't keep the gifts that were brought since; I had been disingenuous with my promise to entertain my guests.
