Al, You need centrist, moderate governments for that...

Perhaps you missed how much Clinton advanced the conservative agenda (welfare, ditching of universal health care, spending cuts) and how much Bush advanced the liberal agenda (education bill, farm bill, aid to Africa).

Did any of those actions mollify the partisan attacks from their opponents? Of course not.

P.S. - Ed Asner was on Hannity today. He complained, among other things, about how Arnold was another puppet in the vast "right-wing conspiracy." No credit whatsoever to Arnold's very left-leaning agenda. So much for moderacy.

RE:"You need centrist, moderate governments for that...not the collection of right wing radicals this guy has surrounded himself with. That's right..the great unifier has divided the country more than any other politician could, not just of personal doing (this guy is really just a tool in other's hands), but because of the people he has brought into goverment, and the people these people have brought in turn."

Ah geez Al, are you up for martyrdom or something?

Bush isn't perfect and he spends like a drunken sailor but maybe that's what we need right now. I also think he's doing some good stuff too. The liberals just seem to want to castrate him at all costs...even if it's weakening the country along the way.
One more year to the election, you can vote for Hillary or Kerry then.
