I would admire Streisand if she turned over all her millions to charity, but she doesn't. But she does consider herself charitible, after all she is willing to give the shirt off of your back to somebody else. I remember her supporting the 1994 tax clinton tax increase, the biggest tax increase in the history of the world. She made sure that those high tax brackets didn't apply to entertainers including atheletes. Thats right, she made sure she was exempt while the rest of us had to pay. She is such a good caring person.

Welcome back, Amer Spitrit. How's your boy Kerry doing? His lopsided head needs some fixing though. 150-dollar haircuts can do wonders to camouflage such imperfection...

Hey over the weekend I was in Vegas gambling with Bill Bennett and he and I were talking about the miscues the lefties are taking and making re social values in this country.

We eventually got around to agreeing that the hijacking of the Democratic party by the extremists in recent years has led to their undoing.

I pointed out the sweeping success that the Repubs had in the mdterm elections last Nov. Across the board. Senate, governors races, you name it. Out with the name brand Dems and in with relatively unkown, untested Repubs.

Anyway, on one roll of the dice he mentioned that he thought the Dems would have trouble nationally after Calif, no matter what the outcome.

I thought that was intersting .. i thought about it a lot on my flight back home.
