dude, may be California has a financial crisis, but the state is giving the same money to the colleges as last year ... so I guess no layoff and no furlough ... yeehaa actually since most of our budget deficit is due to the health cost increase, so they are passing it to us, asking us to pay both a deductible and co-payment, but heck, I just have to make sure I don't get sick ... by Friday, hopefully I will be done with the slavery !!! couldn't even take off this week to play with my boy, this is his last week of summer vacation ... actually he enjoys going to work with me, since the computer at work is much faster than my dial up at home ...
