Yeah, I bought one a couple months ago because we had some house guests that needed a place to sleep and I was surprised at how expensive it was but then I bought it at the hippie dippy futon store. Later I saw one at Walmart that included a cheap frame for what I paid for just the futon. I'm sure the futon wasn't as nice either since it came in a box that was half the size of the futon I bought. shipping cost is starting to exceed product cost on the lowest of the low end crap furniture from china This is what happens to building materials and its the main reason why different areas of the country have periodic shortages of things like drywall. Its cheap but heavy and bulky, a pain in the ass to ship long distances.
