Jay, thanks for the reports. I'm delighted to see you trading in Q. From the rapidity of your trading, you are obviously more interested in QCOM as a currency rather than a profit-making productive enterprise solving problems for people and creating a large consumer surplus.

That is excellent and exactly what I hope billions of people do. Nothing would please me more* than for QUALCOMM to become the world's currency creator and manager with hordes of people speculating on its direction and value. The trends are pointing in that direction, but there is a very long way to go before the Q is universal and or more than a gleam in my eye.

Even if housing prices drop and the number of houses sold reduces, there will still be somebody living in all the houses and they'll still be giving preference to the cyberspace superhighway houses rather than the dial up modem houses.

* okay, that's a slight exaggeration. I can think of some things that would please me more. But I would quite like it if Uncle Al KBE was put out to pasture and the Q took over.
