48 ford pick em up ? Oh I know them well. A buddy of mine built a 49 into one of the best 4x4s I ever drove.(Matter of fact it may still reside up in the Trout creek area.) You could see what was in front of you because of the fender arrangement. There is something about the dash board and instrument setup that seems just right as well. As to the power wagon . what I want to do is set one up with a new dodge suspension , cummings . dana 70 axles and either the new electric lockers or the aor would do as second choice. That and a set of low gears, 5.65 and 38 to 40 inch tires on 20 inch rims would keep me pretty happy.
