Bush went to war in Iraq without a comprehensive plan to win the peace, and in the face of mounting American casualties he refuses to ask the U.N. and international community to play a real role in sharing the burden of reconstruction. IMO, we can't afford this type of leadership.

Since your definition of unilateral is unique, I don't know how to answer that. But he is against an early pullout.

I think he'd prefer to have UN support just as Bush did. But like Bush I don't think he has a problem dealing with problems w/o the UN since that's how the Kosovo/Serbia war was handled.
