Scott,

Your into revisionist history.

General Clark was effectively relieved of command over his handling of the war. This is conveniently forgotten in all the glossies you are posting.

He was obsessed with engaing via land - boots on the ground and really, really wanted to get Apache helicopters involved.

Take a closer look at the General.

John

Wow -- Clark is no unilateralist. It will be a relief to have a President in the White House who is not weak on foreign policy and a President who is not easily pushed around by ideologues. A Rhodes scholar no less. Superb credentials, ample experience in the world and great ideas -- perhaps the days of unilateralism as a cornerstone of US foreign policy will be little more than a tragic footnote in American history.
