Believe it or not Bloomberg is not nearly as unpopular as meets the eye. And cheney would still be in the "pinnacle of power" even if not VEEP. I think a Bush/Pataki or a Bush/Giuliani ticket will draw votes from the center and give bush a chance in states like NY,CA and NJ for example. Karl Rove is a master and with the political divide still really at 50/50 at its core, a move to the center might be advisable to go along with ramifications from a difficult fp. Mike
