That may be, but, on the other hand, it is Clinton who made a false claim to have gotten to surpluses. I certainly would like to see this accounting problem cured. Beyond that, I think that we are right to deal with terrorism and the threat of rogue states now, and therefore that it is worth the deficits. I also think that the civilian economy could use a stimulus, and therefore it is right to cut taxes. I think that in the long run, we will be glad we did both........
