The increase in debt is actually bigger. The deficit this year is about $400 Billion but the increase in debt is about $600 Billion.

Hell yea its a lot bigger, but don't try to say the shortfall in Social Security is Bush's fault. You fault Roosevelt and the congress back in the 1930s for that one called the "new deal" which really means "giant chain letter" or "pyramid scheme" or "ponzi scheme" where the first people in get all the money and those that get in last, our current X and Y generations get the shaft.
