Here is the real deal Cyndrwiller,

I just do not intend on arguing with pinheads anymore, I will say what I want to say, when I want to say it and then I will move on. If you choose to put me on ignore, well go for it.

liberals have already ruined the country...we just have not seen all the fallout yet.

I noticed that the Chinese are going door to door again and rooting out small home churches...you are doing the same thing right now, you just may not realize it. May God have mercy on you.

It's not nearly as much fun since the reality of Iraq is so far different from the rose colored projection.

Who made the rose colored projection...I never saw nor expected one....

The Iraqi children are not seeing the light.

Of course they are....the reality on the ground in Iraq is much different that that protrayed in the media....

The world is still angry and still feels betrayed by an America that spoke of principals and acted in it's own interests.

Boo-hoo. US national security can not be held hostage to the whims of other nations....the action of the Bush Administration is perfectly in keeping with our principles....

The American public is getting restless.

To be expected.....the Administration as done a poor job of getting its message across to the public....

Excellent post. The rightists sort of sound like those in the South who thought their 'way of life' was being ruined by the civil right movement.

Interesting post:

"But things aren't so rosy now are they."

Anyone who portrayed the future as rosy deserves that remark. I don't think that was pervasive. Most pro-Bush people understood the sacrifices, risks, and complexities and expressed themselves eloquently.

"No it's not nearly as much fun anymore.

It is annoying and pointless to simply post hundreds of rhetorical proclamations every day. It does not increase our knowledge or raise the consciousness of the participants. Thoughtful discourse that challenges people to think about issues does help to accomplish these things. I credit you, K. Rose and a few others with making some sincere attempts to promote thoughtful discussion. The rapid fire Bush Bashing posters do nothing but drown the rest of us in inanity.

"Yes, those you like to dismiss as...

kholt, calls dismissiveness, "contempt's weaker cousin"

I agree, but it is hard not to have contempt for deliberate inanity.
