Well, new low on yields would be a result of a failed reflation. What would be a harbinger of a failed reflation?

Patron:

Recall my earlier comments about the "car lease bubble"? During the past week, two friends, (completely unrelated) have passed on interesting and very similar incidents. It seems both of them have car leases due to expire during the next 6-8 months. And both of them have received very friendly calls from the lease companies involved, enquiring as to whether the automobiles would be purchased at the end of the lease contract. Ho, ho, ho. I wonder why these calls are being made..... just because the residual value on most lease contracts is a multiple of current used car prices. (g)

Best, Earlie
