When to say enough is enough is a judgment call, but listen: Saddam was using the embargo exemption for humanitarian supplies to get stuff he wanted, not to feed his people or get the children medicine. Hundreds of thousands of children were dying in consequence. I would rather have had a war and ended this stalemate, then continued to let Saddam divert funds while his people died. Letting up on him was out of the question, as even the Clinton Administration agreed. Remember, Albright, when asked if the dying children were worth the price of containment through the embargo, said "We think they are". So, on those grounds alone, I think it was time to get rid of Saddam Hussein........
