Liberal democracy is democracy with civil liberties protecting minority rights. In other words, it is democracy constructed to guard against the tyranny of the majority. Neocons are a particular faction among conservatives. You people know little about it, and have taken to saying a lot of nonsense, as in your dig about Victorianism. I don't even know where you got such an idea, not to mention that it is totally false. Also, when I say "largely free markets", I would be satisfied with seeing European welfare states, that is up to them. I just mean that there has to be a more or less capitalist core, as is true even in Sweden. Most Neocons were pro- Kosovo. And we have intervened in Liberia. There is nothing wrong in trying to have the primary peacekeeping force come from surrounding nations. We are rather busy elsewhere....
