Ted, the right blows off the growing relationship between Russia, France and Germany. You may do that......its your perogative but I will give it the considerable attention it deserves.

Russia has its own problems. France is suffering from delusions of grandeur. And Germany is riling up anti-Bush sentiment for its own gain. Personally, I think they're hurting themselves more than they're hurting America. But if they emerge stronger by dealing with their problems themselves, more power to them. Then they can actually become relevant in this world, instead of blaming America for everything.

The trick is not having to wait until hindsight rears its ugly head.

No, the trick is to have the foresight that matches the 20/20 vision of hindsight. Of course, it's a lot easier to criticize based on hindsight than on foresight, because if you're not making the decisions yourself, you don't require any foresight.
