What possible positive outcome are you hoping for with this blatant propagandized attack on Bush.

We all know the conditions that were present at the time Bush made this comment and that there was no deceit in his communication.

Main Entry: 3 lie

Function: verb

1 : to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive

m-w.com

Show us specifically what his intent to deceive was.

If he said it on July 14th there would have been no material reliance on the statement at that time by anyone.

He obviously made a speaking error.

He corrected the statement.
