Those vets who attend VFW conventions are not the vets Kerry should talking to. He has done a good job of talking to the vets who attend local meetings in Iowa. Those vets who attend conventions are usually not Democrats.

AS,

Re: What do they want, for Kerry to call (Bush) a murderer?
I dont get it.

Baby killer, war criminal, Nazi, traitor....

There's several epithets that come to mind. <g>

What Kerry might consider doing is spending more time telling us how he will extract us from a very bad mess in Messy-potamia. Unless he's in with the oil companies, in which case, fuggedaboutit.

I just heard that Kerry is going to announce his candidacy in front of a WW II vintage aircraft carrier, surrounded by his crew from Viet Nam. I'm wondering if this was well thought out. After all, the image of Bush landing on the Abraham Lincoln is that of a Commander-In-Chief surrounded by an admiring crowd of today's warriors. The contrast to Kerry's "blast fromt the past" party might be something Karl Rove can exploit. The spin is a "then vs. now" sort of thing.
