I need some help interpreting this NR - they said no evidence of transport {verticle by "frost boil?}, so in theory, everywhere they found a fragment, they were over a dikeypipe. If so, I wonder if they will provide a plan view of the sampling area, indicating Cargo1, Freightrain, the corridor and sample locations, etc. Lets take a precious moment, and break this thing down: -> -> kimberlite fragments {Excellent!} -> along a NE-SW corridor [Freightrain -> Cargo1] {Good - how huge is this corridor, and how many corridors are there? I remember more than one on a picture attached to a NR} -> fragments originate from kimberlite bodies beneath {is Q dikes or pipes?} -> brought to surface by frost boil action {takes a long time? Through what? There is nothing on the surface, or is there? They have been there for what, 150,000,000 years?} -> are distributed across up to 50 meters width within this corridor. {that's wierd? what am I to picture?} -> They were surveyed and sampled over a distance of 1.7-km, 1 km SW from Cargo1 towards Freightrain and 0.7 km to the NE beyond Cargo1. {I thought it was on a connecting line? Fragments all along this distance? Every 50 m?} -> The fragments show no evidence of transport.{transport by ice, I assume. Just wind influence, and the odd Eskimo?} And just one more thing, those who are still with me, This was posted by "Fast" Frank Farmalo {SP? _ soory!} over on stockhouse...I don't understand exactly what he means by "house postion settlements". Can someone interpret/explain this? It seems to have affected Stornoway and Shear by 5% today. I know I should know this by now. I hope you don't think less of me :o) "Normally, stocks are down the third day before month end. Today, it is considered month end selling for house position settlements. Just thought I share it. Most diamond stocks, are down today with the exception of a handful. Tomorrow, should be a better day...frank"stockhouse.com
