Jim,

At this point I expect Davis to be recalled and Bustamnte to win

Carl Rove, the master strategist didn't want the recall, and wanted the Dems to continue to be stuck the California mess.

At least one thing that this is good for (From Karl Rove perspective) is that Arnold is depriving the Dem candidates of the air time they would otherwise get on these slow news days of summer.

Joe

<edit> I think Arnold has at least 50% chance of winning.

Jim, I forget the name of that proposition.

Proposition 187, I believe. Of course, the Dems want to blur the line between legal and illegal immigration just to get the Hispanic vote. The successful lie, "If you are against illegal immigration, you must be a racist."

Meanwhile, anger towards illegals is growing, and I fear it may be overflowing towards all immigrants as well. Maybe Ah-nuld can finally make a strong statement for legal immigration. It's not like he needs to court the Hispanic vote anyway, since they're firmly united behind Bustamante.
