<do death threats trump a Fatwah?> Now, that is definitely a relevant question, in foreign affairs today. You probably have to decide this, on a case-by-case basis, from your evaluation of the relative skills, sincerity, and proximity to the target's tender flesh, of the threators vs. fatwaists. Perhaps we could let the free market decide: set up a futures market, on the odds of various death threats and fatwas happening....oh...I've been scooped....darn, I was about to patent it and look for venture capital...
