They will issue pro-forma protests, but no serious leverage will be applied. Not until after the election, so Sharon has till then, his "window of opportunity" for a military solution.

When do you think Iran demonstrates a nuclear weapon? My guess is: 2005. They'll have to actually detonate one, or else nobody will believe them, like the widespread disbelief of N. Korea's claims. And after Iran does it, will Israel do what India did after Pakistan made their "peaceful nuclear device" go boom?
