New Zealand is one of the most friendly places on this earth, but if you ever decide to enter a fistfight that involves a kiwi, make sure you pick his side, never mind what he weighs, it's his attitude that counts .... i have a story about maori bikers, but it's long and i'm waiting to be picked up to go to dinner ... moral is, you mind your business and they'll mind theirs ... corollary is, god help anybody who ever invades Godzone [godzone is a corruption of God's Own Country, header of a settler promotion poster in the 1800s] ..... in all the little towns there you'll find a war memorial, says For King and Country, 1914-18, many many names listed in the smallest places ..... do they know how to fight when it's time to fight, oh yeah

That was quehubo who said that, didn't mean it as snotty as it came across, maybe ... he's had good ideas, one was to slap serious tax on petroleum products .... fuel is over-cheap, which encourages over-use, consumption taxes have less harmful effect than income taxes, so it all makes sense to me .... highly impolitic though, the guys with their names on the bill would never get elected dogcatcher again, but this is Thread Morons, what the hey

There's actually a T in that company name, it's Immortality Systems ... but i saw it first without the T, did a double take, and now choose to leave the T aside .... makes it a sign of the ubiquitousness of the uniquitous, if'n y'all know what ah mean
