During the 2000 primaries, the leading Democrat candidates met in a black church in New York. At the time, several New York Policemen were on trial for accidently shooting a black man, in a very dangerous, high crime neighborhood.

Every single Democrat candidate condemned the Police and vowed that the policemen should be in jail.

The trial of the policemen wasn't over at that time, and I thought that the Democrat candidates were representing an unfair lynching of the Policemen. The Policemen eventually were found INNOCENT!

From that day I considered the Democrats the antiPolice, antiLaw&Order Party.

Bush should listen to Senator Chuck Hagel (R) who cautions him to internationalize the reconstruction effort in Iraq. Bush needs to listen to advice from Hagel instead of Cheney and Rumsfeld.
