<<< I would like to see more of what we have been seeing, I nice long consolidation of the run off of the bottom. In fact, that's what I'm looking for. So, get used to 10% or less in gains a year, but if you are smart you will get more, and that friend is the name of the game. >>>
About what I see too, bouncy with a bit of up. Market usually drops at end of earnings but not much this time
2004 looking very positive at this time, so I will try to sit through the perilous months. Actually am not sitting much, mostly trading.
Buy and hold can work for some, but its really tough (for me) to find any trustworthy stuff, and from perusing other portfolios thats a rough road.
If I buy about about ten stocks, I have to drop 7 almost immediately. KKD, Cat, Sina, China, Nfi, Fic, all gone now . So its hardly worth mentioning on the thread.-too tricky to play them right
But I always manage to get some hot ones going -Optv. Bamm, stuff like that for at least a short run-up.
Wish I could play Jnpr and Fdry right, still out of sync there, now they are back up and looking good, and I am ready to buy ( and watch them get killed again ?) . I'll just pass on those and leave to the experts who know better when to buy.
.Tsco is still my bread and butter, Agi is floundering along setting a good base and IMO is buyable. Dell is still the same old trustworthy but pretty slow progress
