AS,

I can't quite figure out why you are so hostile to Howard Dean. The enemy of the people is George Bush. I'm still happy to be in the ABB camp. Kerry, Clark, Kucinich, Clinton, Dean.... makes me no never mind.

Yesterday, I thought I was offering some constructive criticism by saying that Kerry makes watching paint dry seem exciting. I don't say he's a bad man, or a bad statesman. He's just a lame candidate.

Unless he can ignite a spark in the electorate, voters will sit on their hands.

Dean is far more seasoned at this time than was George Bush in 1999, so please spare me the argument about his foreign policy weaknesses.

I also find that Kerry's craven vote for giving Bush carte blanche for war last fall is a black mark that Kerry hasn't been too good at erasing. He's being given a pass on this by the media, so maybe the resentment of those of us who have personal integrity can be considered a just a freakshow of the few remaining honest citizens in modern America.

Re: You have to be more realistic.

Never, if it means I have to lie. I draw the line at prevarication.
