One other rational conclusion may be drawn - that there were no WMDs.

The object was for Saddam to prove that he had disarmed.
From day one he choose not to. Ask yourself why he did not.
The only rational conclusion you can draw from his actions was that he had not disarmed.

If you followed the exchange between Saddam and the UN, you would know that at first he would balk, but then in the end he would comply. Time after time, this same scenario would play out. Its pretty obvious that his balking was to save face among his Arab neighbors.

But gov. bush wasn't about to let that happen because gov. bush had other plans. So in his State of Union, he said Saddam was buying uranium to use in nukes. That was the lie that cooked Saddam's goose.

The mendacity and hubris of this president is shocking. And gov. bush got what he wanted.........and now, his administration is falling apart like a house of cards............as it should! The sucker is coming down!

And in bush's famous words: ELECTION 2004........Bring it on!!!
