Yesterday Bremer said that it would be difficult to exaggerate Iraq's problems and the cost to reconstruct. This while bush was touting lots of progress in speeches. Its the whole 'the emperor has no clothes' scenario. What worries me is that political pundits are suggesting that Bush is claiming more soldiers are not needed because he doesn't want that to impact on his re-election campaign next year. As we know, he's not above playing with people's lives to get what he wants. ted
