I'm going to play this hand thru to the end. Am running with between zero to 20k buying power.
Which I maintain by buying or selling- not good as I tend to sell at lows, but it is a way to keep from getting too much invested.
It also works to keep my list of potential stocks down, if I own over 12 stocks it is a warning that i am over enthusiatic or over invested. Time to sell something as things are looking too good..
Keep only a few , maybe 4 B+H stocks around, the rest being trades until they prove themselves by going up.
TDW has a terrible system for finding monetary position. They do not count calls as marginable, they dont even count them as assets. So the totals can be way off the mark.
I have ten up and three down today and should be about the best off for the year.
Sold about 5 stocks, then recently added TTC, OPTV, WMT, Hott, and Petm.
The Optv alone makes up for any losers among the rest.
Have to break all the rules, including my own- which says sell on the split date.
Tsco was runnning so strong I took a chance and kept nearly all, then sold some deep ITM calls and bought the higher strikes
No proof anywhere as to why it keeps going up.Only indication was that on the day before the split somebody
bought 1200 calls which is a huge quantity for that stock
Its all guesswork, maybe they will buy some more bankrup stores since sales are good.
Will we ever get back to the market where one can buy a stock and truly expect to get a solid 6 or 10 percent a year gain? There are a lot of those but the news and churners have made it impossible to find them.
Stock might drop 20 % in a week, and sit there for 6 months , before coming back up again to make the 10% for the year. Make people nervous.

Got to find some faith in the corporation, or be completely sure of the reason you had to buy it.
I would put Dell, Wmt, and Agi in that category of having a reasonable assurance that the company will be rewarding to shareholders.
Lots of other companies can be hugely successful, like Intc, Csco, and Msft but its more questionable whether the common shareholders will get rewarded since some of those have over 10 bil shares outstanding
Company earns 10 bil pennys, or $100mm after taxes and the shareholders get what -? A 1 cent return.
Might as well go the Vegas or buy a lottery ticket.

Re IGT and AGI:
There is a potentially large market for this gambling equipment. India, China, etc
