Intel CEO: No edge for AMD in China

The head of Intel says rival Advanced Micro Devices will not enjoy a low-price advantage in the fast-growing but cost-conscious China market.
"China was the fastest to make the conversion from Pentium III to Pentium IV in any place we do business, including the United States,'' Intel Chief Executive Craig Barrett said Wednesday.

This is true. A lot of computers in China have been upgraded to P4 before most of the US computers do.
