Both Time and Newsweek are merely weather vanes. Bag Sadaam and the "quagmire" disappears, at least until the next bombing. I generally don't read either one anymore, though I do access certain of their articles online. Back in the Middle Ages when I started high school, I signed up for a subscription to Time and read it religiously every week.

In response to your earlier post about Jim Vendhei, while I have read his reporting I can't say that he has actually registered on my radar screen. He does merit a page at Fairness.com:
